This is my fourth visit and every time they are professional and efficient. Kayla ( and the other lady) at the front desk are amazing. On my first visit Kayla greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome. I went there to inquire about their services and came out with some work done. I definitely recommend this place.

I just had Botox with Yvette who I have followed for the last ten years when she was at Pure Med Spa and Kaiser Dermatology. I follow her because she always gets it right. I have made the mistake of going to other companies that had inexperienced providers and had either no result or a bad outcome. Yvette is consistently great at treating me with injectables. She always does the perfect amount that gives a natural look but definitely improves my problem areas like my forehead and crowsfeet. I can't wait to have her to this new micro-needling-laser on me as I have seen the before and after pictures and love how it improves the texture of the skin. I know this company has lots of machines they use which makes me think they like to purchase the best equipment.

I have been a client of Jessica a little over a year now. It was one of the best decisions I could ever make to give this establishment a try. I am going into my 30's and I have acne-prone skin, however, I haven't broken out since doing the regiment Jessica suggested. My skin not only gets better every time I see her, but I also hate to wear makeup now because I rather show off healthy glowing skin. I had seen a healthy glow to my skin after the FIRST facial. We of course switched from doing microdermabrasion to IPLs and peels so I got to really experience everything and witness my skin change for the better. I had really bad acne on my chest and back, and the products she recommended, are amazing, especially since they are way more affordable than other high-quality products, and the outcome is truly something special. Jessica really hears you out with what your concerns are and always replies to emails very quickly. She tailors her custom facials to your specific skin concerns and makes sure you are comfortable as possible. I've been going to Hayes Valley Med for over 3 years now, I get my Venus legacy body contouring and Venus viva treatments for my face and these keep me feeling and looking really good. Denise always does my laser hair removal and she is my favorite nurse to see here. She's so funny and always makes me feel comfortable, even when I am in a compromising position ;) Denise has done my botox also and has never failed me. If I could go weekly to see her I would.

I tried Microneedling for the 1st time and Thena Holmen was a total pro guiding me through the process. I was a little nervous but she put me totally at ease. She is warm, attentive and expert. She responds to any and all questions and concerns, and totally put me at ease. My skin looked (after a couple days of redness, easily hid by makeup) almost immediately younger. It looked smooth, radiant and 'full' in a natural way. I felt 10 years younger--and often get that comment. I will definitely try this procedure again. I I highly recommend Thena!

AWESOME PLACE!!! If you haven't been you have to go! I finally created my own yelp account (instead of borrowing my sisters) and I had to stop to write about how great this little gem is! Im a flight attendant that frequents San Francisco, so I, VERY RELUCTANTLY, decided to make an appointment instead of waiting to get in back home at a Plastic Surgeons office. I showed up so late, and the Nurse Practitioner, Lauren, happened to be in the lobby listening to me beg to be fit in because I was only in the city for that day. She interrupted and offered to stay over her shift just to take care of me! So Kind! Then I had the greatest experience! I wasn't rushed, she talked me through everything (IM TERRIFIED OF NEEDLES), and educated me about the products to the point that I learned something new. Ive been getting Botox for years and never had such a fun treatment. She was so nice, that I was laughing and didn't even realize my treatment was finished. She even took the time to talk to me about filler since Im considering getting my lips done. Too bad it has to be done with a needle! Lauren even spent time talking about different skin care products for me when I asked what else I could to stop aging! If I keep raving about HVME, I'll be labeled a stalker. Was in today and had a dermaplaning treatment with Jessica. As usual, everything from the first step in the door to the check out was fabulous. This was my first dermaplaning experience and I'm already a fan. My face feels amazing and I can practically feel my skin soaking in my product. It's also the first time ever seeing my face without hair - looking forward to putting make up on my skin rather than over peach fuzz. This was also my first treatment with Jessica, who was as wonderful as all the others there who have treated me. Thanks to the whole team. I've been seeing Holly for facials since she used to work in Seattle years ago. Now that she's in San Francisco, I try to get down that way a couple times a year for facials with her. She knows my skin and always has great recommendations for me. This last time I saw her, she suggested I get a microdermabrasion and micro current facial. I'd never tried either so I decided to go for it. My skin has never looked better. The microdermabrasion is really cool, it's like a little vacuum that takes off all the dead surface stuff and leave your skin super soft. Then the micro current is like nothing I've ever felt before. She explained that it works to temporarily tighten and tone your muscles in the face, but that it should be done in a series for best results - I was really happy with the one treatment! I'm sad I can't see her more often, but it's a good reason for a quick trip down to SF a bit more often. She also had me meet with Linda, she's one of the nurses there and is really knowledgeable in all things filler and laser related. Maybe I'll be able to plan a trip that includes an appointment with her too next time.

I had never even heard of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photorejuvenation until Denise recommended it for me at Hayes Valley. But boy am I glad I got this treatment. I used to have freckles that were so pervasive you couldn't tell which color was my complexion and which was the freckles. Now that the freckles are literally falling off of me, the rest of my facial features have a chance to be seen and appreciated. Denise is clearly a pro at what she does, and she's got an amazing bedside manner -- I really enjoyed talking with her during the IPL treatment. It was like getting a free beauty advice session thrown in for no charge. I'm definitely coming back for more!

Now here is a medspa that is just as sophisticated as the city of San Francisco is. Take a gander at the menu of treatments that Hayes Valley offers and you'll see what I mean. There's some really cutting-edge sophisticated offerings -- all of them FDA-approved and provided under medical supervison -- that are either so new you don't see them in other places yet or are fuller-service treatments than typical esthetician fare. Nothing about the experience is a one-size-fits all beauty regimen -- it's really tailored to the individual. Case in point: Holly Byerly knocked my socks off with the most customized 90-minute facial I've ever gotten, and I look and feel like a million bucks as a result. All of this was administered while I laid flat on what was honestly the most comfortable chair I've ever encountered in a medical or esthetician's office -- it has a heating option underneath and they covered me with a plush down blanket. That was plenty of relaxation in and of itself, but then get a load of the treatments I got: 1. Customized microdermabrasion that felt soothing -- a delightful contrast and far cry from the sandblasting sensation we've come to know and expect in a microdermabrasion; 2. A facial peel with added coco enzymes -- it smelled and felt like Nutella being spread on my face -- and followed by steam; 2. TNS SkinMedica stem cell treatment, infused with pure oxygen and then followed by a pure oxygen mask; 3. A microcurrent eye lift; 4. A coconut and honey hydrating mask that smelled and felt like butterscotch; 5. A neck and shoulder massage using organic cold pressed virgin coconut oil from VMV Hypoallergenics (apparently the company has its own coconut farm that also also a bird sanctuary; and 6.Hyaluronic acid following and extractions of tags, whiteheads and blackheads. To top it all off, after the facial was done, Holly recommended some products that are helping me maintain the benefits of her treatments. Like I said to Holly throughout the experience, I felt totally spoiled in a good way. This was the best investment in self care ever. I can't recommend it highly enough -- especially if you buy one of the packages of multiple sessions or series of treatments.

Linda is wonderful. I do not usually write reviews but Shelia and LInda took great care of me and I look younger and vibrant. I do not trust anyone else for injectables. LInda is careful, thoughtful, and respectful of one;s budget. She is conservative, but understands you want bang for your buck and have limited time. I have followed LInda from Marin into SF and I will continue to follow her where ever she practices. Hayes Valley is a beautiful facility and offers all the latest in skin care. When I was first recommended to Linda Behla, I was a bit apprehensive about the effectiveness of fillers and their cost as my having tried Juvaderm in the past brought me little change in my appearance and a hefty hit to my checkbook. Expecting a shot or two of Botox etc. for an immediate fix, I was convinced later by Linda that for longer lasting and better results I should only do Sculpta that day to lay the foundation for a second treatment. I was surprised when I saw a difference that day having been told that any change might not show for weeks. On my second visit, I did receive injections of Voluma and Botox. My husband commented that my hollowed cheeks seemed to have gone. I was amazed that with the many needles, I had NO BRUISING at either time. I am now looking forward to another Sculpta treatment and would place all future enhancement procedures in the expert hands of Linda Behla for she is extremely competent and takes pride in making women look and feel their best. She is a treasured find in my life.

Linda Behla treated my skin at SkinSpirit in Mill Valley for sun damage. When I learned she went on to join a new practice in San Francisco, of course, I followed her. First, I was happy to learn that the parking is simple at the new location on Gough. It's nice that they will pay for your parking meter if you're out of quarters (by just giving the front desk your meter number--they pay with the SF parking phone app :). I've been going to Linda for IPL, BOTOX, Fillers and facials for years, and plan to keep doing so. Soon I'd like to take it to the next level and make some further progress on my sun-damaged, age spots on my skin with fractional resurfacing. Linda is an expert so I completely trust her. I'm also happy to hear that Linda treats patients with Ulthera skin tightening. At age 40+, I could certainly use that in various places. The lobby at the new office is beautiful, and the staff friendly. I look forward to my next visit for skin treatment!
