Out for girl's night and someone commented on chipmunk cheeks. OMG! I had some teeth pain so went to my dentist thinking some gum problem. He told me muscles bigger from my teeth grinding. Getting a tattoo removed sucks! But, if your going to go through it I highly recommend using Dr. Tsai at S.F. Aesthetics.

I pretty much joined yelp just so I could rave about Dr. Tsai. While I do not think of myself as 'vain' or 'self-obsessed', I had hoped to prevent and diminish some tiny, perceived flaws on my face. Like most people in their late thirties, I had developed some noticeable creases in my forehead, which made me look more anxious and irritable than I would like. I also had an unshakably weary look around my eyes. Dr. Tsai implemented a very subtle regime of botox and a small amount of juvederm , which created a very natural and appealing result. I was really delighted and amazed! Prior to the appointment, I was so incredibly nervous about going in for these treatments, partially because I would never want to appear fake or to totally avoid the aging process. BUT these very slight changes have been quite meaningful to me in that I feel a little bit more naturally confident and less worn-down by the sands of time. Dr. Tsai is an incredibly gifted and gentle technician. I highly recommend her. Some of the treatments are a little expensive (for me) but she gives a lot of personal attention and does not push anything onto her clients. Dr Tsai is excellent at what she does.

Lasar Hair Removal for my underarms and hohaw (full Brazilian). Best Desicion of 2010!! I have spent so much money on waxing my stubborn hair it's embarrassing not to mention I still had to deal with constant ingrowns. So when a couple of my colleagues mentioned Dr Tsai and her exquisite care of their "situations" I was very hopeful. So far I have had 3 treatments and have almost forgot I grow hair in the areas she's worked on. It's not a pleasant experience by any stretch but I saw results after the first treatment and knew it was worth it. Plus Jeannie is so encouraging- talking me through the whole experience, making sure Im satisfied, and being sensitive during the treatment (adjusting lasar intensity, offering a distraction vibrator which REALLY helps). I love all her front desk staff as well. They are super helpful and cheery, making sure everything is smooth and under control (like my unmentionables, hooray!).

I am so blown away how my skin looks and feels, still!! I just recently went to Dr, Tsai to have fillers put in my face. I had never been to a dermatologist nor have I ever had needles put in my face. I was very nervous. I had a few friends recommend her so I looked at her background. After seeing her educational background and her practice her in S.f and L.A I knew I was in good hands. I then went to her for a consultation, she was very clear on what this was about, plus the pictures of her patients she showed me, helped relieve me. Upon the visit she was very gentle, compassionate and professional, while walking me though it. With her attitude and ease I could hardly feel the needles! Let me tell you,I hardly wear any makeup for coverage, and I have been carded recently at events here!! She loves what she does and it shows!!! Thank you Dr. Tsai!!

This woman is a genius with a needle. No bruising or pain. No bleeding at injection sites. Results are perfect exactly what I asked for. I'll go back even if it means taking a ferry and cab ride.

I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful my experience has been here. I was really broken when I first started, feeling embarassed about facial hair growth. Many people like myself could not participate in laser treatment because of our olive or darker toned skin. I came across Dr. Tsai in yelp and though things couldn't possibly get worse, and finally thought "I had nothing to lose" From chemical burns to plucking, my face developed dark pigmentation and the skin became so thin that it would actually bleed some mornings. I felt like a laser, at this point, would just destroy what was left of my facial skin. I went ahead and saw Dr. Tsai, who not only made me feel comfortable, but also let me have a healing time for my skin to rest before she began treating it with low doses of the laser. I could not believe...COULD NOT believe how great the results were. Immediately I went from removing hair daily, to going months at a time without have to bother. It has been about 5 treatments later and I can now participate in life in ways I never could before. I can wear my hair in a ponytail when I play basketball. I can go to the gym without wearing tons of makeup, and can go on vacation with friends or sleep over without having to worry about sleeping with some makeup on or being the first one up to take care of my hair removal and makeup! My olive skin's texture has returned and evened out, and have WAY less dark pigmentation then when I first came to Presidio. This can change your life. Dr. Tsai is a miracle worker. I could never dream of having a better doctor. The office is quiet, private, and calm. Dr. Tsai is extremely kind, approachable, and attentive, and does not rush you at all. She listens carefully to all questions and concerns, and, unlike any other doctor I have ever encountered, she follows up with her patients to see how their treatments went. I had severe facial flushing, and she has nearly eradicated the problem with her treatments. Not only is she highly educated, she is one of the kindest people I have ever met. She truly cares about her patients, and is extremely skilled in what she does.

Like many others, got a tattoo on a whim and since maturing, need to erase the mistakes of youth. Dr Tsai has a dedicated tattoo removal laser on premise. She must know what she's doing if she's the only one I know of that has a wide array of laser equipment. If only I can laser away other mistakes of my youth...... Couldn't help it but got some botox and fillers. Settled on Restylane over Perlane. OMG! Should have done it sooner! Painless, natural looking. Took years away from my face!

Dr. Tsai is super nice, I totally enjoyed my consultation with her! I've seen several dermatologists in San Francisco, this is the first time that things were explained so thoroughly and patiently. What impressed me most is that Dr. Tsai really thinks for the patients. She even recommended some over-the-counter replacements to help my budget. I haven't started my session yet, but I am so comfortable with her, really look forward to working with her!

Update: I had my laser tattoo removal appointment and definitely wanted to upgrade to 5 stars. The treatment was painless. You must follow her instructions for using the numbing cream! You won't be sorry. I am so glad to be going to Presidio laser Med. I haven't even been in to see Dr. Tsai yet and I love her already. I called the office and got the answering machine so I left a message. Dr. Tsai called me back PERSONALLY!!! When in your life has a doctor ever called you back in person! She spent at least 10 minutes on the phone with me discussing my options and making my appointment. I'm only giving four stars because I haven't actually been to my appointment yet. When I actually have my office visit I can change it to five!

I would have to say that Dr. Tsai is one of the most caring doctors that I have ever met. My experience was great becasue she was so knowledgeable and I never felt like I was being rushed out the door. I also found her rates to be really competitive. My hair removal session was really successful and I look forward to my next visit!

Dr. Tsai at Presidio Laser Medicine is awesome. She is totally hands on, will explain everything to you clearly and with out being patronizing. She does all of the sessions herself, so you are being worked on by a doctor, not staff. Many places will claim that they can make improvements in people's skin, or do laser hair removal, but the issue is that they have ONE laser they are using on all skin types. This is bad news because that means they are just trying to pay off their expensive investment. Dr. Tsai has FOUR types of lasers so that she can do customized treatments on her patients. And, she will tell you straight out if she thinks you should not get a certain type of service. I know for a fact that she has turned away clients that have requested Botox or other cosmetic procedures if she felt that they did not need it. If you are looking for an honest, hands-on doctor to do cosmetic medical treatments, you can't beat her rates nor find a doctor who is more into what she is doing. She is top notch and so easy to work with.
