I have been seeing Vanessa Contreras (for facials/microneedling/peels) & Joy Sheppard (for injectables) for the last few years. I've referred several people over that time because Skinspirit is the absolute best place to go for all of your skin care needs in SF. I have pretty acne prone skin and even in my late 20's battle cystic and annoying acne + melasma and a lot of discoloration with my skin. I bought some facial packages (signature & microneedling) during the year of my wedding and Vanessa literally changed my skin around and by the time my big day came around my skin was flawless. I need to learn my lesson with staying up to date with my facials because I rarely went in the year following my wedding and my skin missed Vanessa so much. Her perfectly customized facials are something my troubled skin can't go without. After a terrible first experience with botox elsewhere I was skeptical to try again. Vanessa told me "she wouldn't let anyone touch her face with a needle except Joy" so I already trusted her. Joy was patient and started out slow with me on my second attempt with botox. I am so happy that I finally found someone I trust with injectables. She takes the time and care needed to make sure your face is perfectly balanced and flawless!! Skin spirit is on the pricier end for these services. But I strongly believe that your face is your biggest investment. Cheaping out on these services does you no good. I've watched botched one too many times. ;) Trust me when I say, that it is well worth the costs to have someone you trust 1000% to take care of your face and the results speak for themselves. I went to Skin Spirit in Presidio Heights to get a Dermal Filler Treatment By Pritika Gosai just over a week ago and I must say “OMG! Skin Spirit is a MUST!” From the moment you walk in with the warm greeting staff down to the clean and comfortable waiting area, and most of all the very Informational and polite Pritika Gosai. Who not only listened and knew exactly what look I was going for but executing and making sure I was comfortable the whole entire time! I have received so many compliments from family and friends on how great my treatment looks! 👄💕 I recommend everyone I know to visit Skin Spirit in Presidio Heights for all cosmetic needs!

By Far one of the most professional cool sculpting places. The environment is very welcoming and Staff is very sweet. One of the girls there, Salvi I believe her name is was very kind, gentle and took great care of my every need. I will most definitely come again.

Pritika Gosai has my highest recommendation. I have seen her for six months for both Botox and filler, and the pictures say it all. Pritika makes me feel calm, comfortable and confident. She will tell you the advantages of certain procedures and is cautious to never over apply. I have a lot of trust in her judgement. As someone who budgets and prioritizes these services, but has little to no experience with cosmetic surgery, I need someone who will hold my hand and make me look great. Before visiting Pritika, I chose a random provider via a web search. They were cold, provided little context or insight into the procedure, and showed no interest in maintaining me as a client. Pritika cares about her client book. Her office is clean and cozy and the staff gives you the full princess treatment. I receive countless compliments - friends, family and colleagues telling me how rested and beautiful I look all of the time. Love her

I had the best experience at Skin Spirit ! From the welcoming warm cheerful front staff to the thorough professional service during my treatment. Dora at the front desk was an absolute dream, she was so happy to be there her energy was contagious. Pritika performed my injections and was wonderful. She was so thorough with the initial evaluation which I truly appreciated. I have had injections by plastic surgeons, derms and RNs and she was the best! She definitely knows her stuff. If you are interested in getting CoolSculpting, then ask for Salvi. I have had CoolSculpting before (at another location), so I knew what to expect. Salvi still explained every step at the start & then again as we proceeded. I learned so much more from her. Salvi made sure I was comfortable throughout the complete session. She's wonderful! It's only been a few weeks & I'm already seeing results! Yay! If you want excellent service and a knowledgeable Body Expert, Salvi Estrevencion is who I highly recommend.

I have seen Virginia at the Presidio Skin Spirit location for micro needling 5-6 times now and she is incredible. As good as it gets, and I will not trust anyone else with my face. She is so thorough, pays close attention to my skin concerns and areas I want most improved, and she is so kind. I recommend her to anyone who is struggling with acne scars. She has helped reduce the severity of my atrophic mark acne scars. She is always accommodating, as well and responsive. She even gave me her cell phone number. I HIGHLY recommend Virginia.

I love this place. Every single staff member is so kind and considerate. I walked in kind of nervous for my laser hair removal, but as soon as I was chatting with the front desk I felt calm. They got me everything I needed such a water and pointing me in the direction of the bathroom which is of course apart of their job but they did it with such graciousness. The nurse who did my hair removal was so nice and understanding. She calmed all my nerves and answered every one of my questions and believe me there was a lot of them. It didn't hurt at all, the place is so clean and nice and I just love it! Check out was soo easy and I can't wait to go back!

I saw Virginia a few days ago. it was my first visit and my first facial in many years. Was pleasantly surprised with how lovely a visit it was. She detailed the steps we were going through but never did she pressure me for any more intense treatments. She was very affirmative and gave steps to maintain my skin on my own. I would highly recommend their services; very friendly and very positive and i love the results!

I trusted Yelpers and found myself in SkinSpirit with Madison Nerviani for Cool Sculpting. She made me feel so welcomed and comfortable, and was extremely professional at the same time. She walked me through every step of the process and did a five star job. With the level of competition in San Francisco, SkinSpirit is very lucky to have her.

I went in for a consultation. I saw NP Joy Sheppard at a last minute appointment. She was so sweet and the staff was amazing. I got CoolSculpting with Madison Nerviani at SkinSpirit in early December and feel incredible! I consistently work out about 4/5 days a week but have this stubborn "tire" fat that I can't get rid of in my lower abdomen (tire=my nickname for the lower belly fat). Madison told me I would start seeing results about a month after treatment, and she was not kidding! New Year's was the one month marker and I definitely saw a drastic change come the new year! Absolute best in skin care! wonderful staff and excellent results with botox

This review is for the Kybella treatment I recently received from Kelly at SkinSpirit. For the uninitiated, Kybella is an injectable treatment that reduces fat under the chin (i.e. eliminates double chin). It's usually an uncomfortable procedure that requires 30 separate injections. However, Kelly uses a different technique that only requires 3 injections and includes some numbing medicine. It was relatively pain-free and produced better results than my previous treatments. In addition to the terrific treatment, the staff at SkinSpirit is far more professional than most retail businesses. Megan is kind and empathetic, and she always provides outstanding service. I've also had positive experiences with Jane and Andrew. Thumbs up!

This place and the staff are the BEST in the business. From the warm, welcoming, down to earth from of the house staff to the artfully skilled practitioners and the ambiance of the space, I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Some med spas seem sterile, pushy, judgy... not Skin Spirit. Never have I been pushed into anything and I'm beyond amazed and happy with the results. I've been seeing the Nurse Practitioner Joy Sheppard for the past 4years for Botox and filler.she understands how to deliver natural results where I still feel like"me",I never look frozen or overdone.she knows how to make the results look subtle while impactful. Joy referred me to the esthetician Vanessa and it was the best facial I ever had! I'm also esthetician so I'm very particular but wow!,what a treat it was to have someone work on me. I highly recommend both Joy and Vanessa ! It's awesome that they work under the same roof so I can see them on the same day again!

I followed Kelly to SkinSpirit and really enjoy the ambiance of this location. I've been seeing Kelly for 6 years now and this is the 3rd location I've seen her at - it's by far the best! SkinSpirit has a very comforting setting with lots of natural light and calming colors. There's a side sitting/waiting area that's tucked away for a bit of privacy. So far I've only had services with Kelly but will be seeing some of their estheticians soon too. Each team member I've spoken with has been very friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend this location but I also highly recommend Kelly as well. She's amazing at what she does and has a very calming demeanor - I know I'm in good hands with her!

I've been coming to Joy Sheppard for years, she was the first person I trusted to do my Botox. (I made the mistake of going to someone else when she was on maternity leave, never again!!) Joy is my only go-to! She is super personable, professional, sweet, and gives me the best results. She has a keen eye for aesthectics, I always feel refreshed and youthful after her services.

My daughter recommended I go to SkinSpirit for a facial. I'm 55 and have never had a facial in my life! I'm on old fashioned bar of soap lady, but I finally decided it was time to get one and treat myself! I saw Virginia first and she gave me a dermaplane facial and it was excellent- I was so relaxed and 3 days later, my face is STILL glowing! I saw Joie the nurse after for a consultation and IPL treatmeant for my sun spots...she's knowledgeable and gave me a simple at-home skin care regimen that works for me. This is a beautiful facility and the staff is top knotch. They have a huge selection of skin care but dont push products which is important to minimalists like me. I've been going to Joie Beck for years and she's magical with a syringe. I always leave looking natural and relaxed, just enhanced. Next up: facial!

I had an appointment with Sheila, at the Skinspirit in her new San Francisco Salon, last week for my 3rd Dermaplaning Resurfacing Facial. Sheila is amazing. She always makes me feel so welcomed by her presence, being so attentive and caring. And, most importantly she is a skilled professional who loves what she does and pays attention to details. She knows my skin type and exactly tells me what needs to be done. I am a busy woman and a busy mother who neglects herself;- so sometimes my skin looks and feels so dehydrated and stressed. She goes with what your skin needs. It is not like one thing for all. That is why I love her work and keep going back to her; even after moving to SF from Peninsula; to get my Custom Facial Treatment or her Chemical Peels. Next, I am going to try her Power Hour Treatment right before getting ready for a long and exhausting work project that I am heading for.
