Doesn't look like much when you walk past, but I was practically dying of hunger so I popped in. The definition of hole-in-the-wall. I got the regular hamburger and wow... there are no words. A classic burger done right. Crisp bun, juicy patty, stuffed with all the essentials (ketchup, shredded lettuce, tomato, and pickles). There's about a million options available between the menu board and wall full of specials, so it can get a little overwhelming, but you really can't go wrong. Not much else to say go see for yourself! You won't be disappointed.

I've been coming here for so long. I'm a regular I guess and sometimes I come at 8:30 on a Monday or Tuesday and have one-two beers indoors at the hightop before last call. I come here after grocery shopping at Whole Foods. The beer selection and the staff is really why I like it here. The food is ok..I like the salads and burgers but I miss the shrimp and grits they used to have. Marci the bartender, love her!

My buddy and I came in to grab dinner. They were busy, so we sat at the bar. The service could've been better. They had two bartenders on, one of which was good, the other seemed like she did not want to be there. Twice she walked by my empty glass. The food, however, was outstanding. The bbq maple burger is simply amazing and the menu has some things you see elsewhere. Overall, certainly a place worth going to.

I have been going here for years and will continue to go. We love the burgers, oysters, beer and atmosphere. I have always been a 5 star fan of this place. My son likes to come on his birthday. But today, for the first time, I was disappointed...thus 4 stars. It was something small that the waitress made a huge deal over. My wife and I ordered 2 of every oyster on the menu, 2 beers, 2 sandwiches and we upgraded to shoestring for her and famous fries for me. Everything except her shoestring fries were hot and delicious as we have come to expect. Oysters were great. However, her fries were cold. When I brought this to the waitresses attention she said she would reheat the fries. Seriously? Reheated fries? I told her I didn't pay for reheated fries and asked for a new batch which she told me she would charge me for. I protested and she relented, but when she returned she made a point of calling out in front of other customers she was not charging me for the replacement fries and then proceeded to tell me she was sure my wife's fries were hot when she brought them to the table..which, unless she touched or ate some of my wife's fries made no sense to me. The first thing we did when the food arrived was to grab a fry so I am 100% positive my wife's were cold and mine were hot. It is not rocket science. Seemed she was suggesting I was lying about the $1 upgrade to shoestring fries for me wife vs the $70 bill we left with for lunch. I am not sure if the location is tight on money, margins are down so they will just reheat fries, but this is not what I expect from the Pour House. I am hoping this was the waitress and not new policy to reheat cold food rather than provide fresh hot food. The manager was kind and even though I told him I didn't want free food and was simply bringing this to his attention as I have never had an issue here, he bought me a beer.

We visited with a group of 11 people. They accommodated us on a Tuesday with no problem. The waitress was professional, handled our table easily and even took 4 credit cards and charged them individually against 1 bill. FOOD: I order the Pour House Deluxe Burger and it was easily the best burger I've had in some time. Cooked to a perfect 'medium' as requested. Their sweet potato fries and horseradish sauce was delish! I would go back and get the burger any time. BEER: Best selection of beers including several IPAs. We enjoyed reading all the different beers and trying several of them. I can't wait to go back!

The Positive: The food here is 4 stars....The burgers are really good here... and so is their CHILI ! I really love their chili. They have soooo many beers to choose from. so if you like beer... I'm sure there will be something you'll like. The Negative: It is difficult to hear conversation at the table with your friends.... & it can be very loud / noisy on Game nights especially near the bar area... It can almost be called a Sports bar. The pour House gets very crowded and at times the wait for a table can be long...so go early...and on a weekday. The bar can be a tad noisy... so a booth towards the back is great .

Usually go here for big sporting matches only. My SO and I used to frequent more often for dates, and with family but we found the service to be going down hill (rude servers, etc). Went yesterday with a group of friends (5 counting myself) got EXCELLENT SERVICE. It was extremely busy due to the Women's World Cup, and our server was friendly, attentive, but not overbearing, and even sat down at one point to make sure she was putting our orders in correctly! Seriously awesome will probably begin to go more regularly!

I've been to the Pour House a few times with groups of friends. The food is good, and not being a drinker my friends tell me the beer selection is ample. I have a personal preference for P.J. Whelihan's over The Pour House, same parent company slightly different food and atmosphere.

We live in town a few blocks away from this gem and frequent it at least once every two weeks If not once a week. There I said it. We don't mind spending a lot of money on a wow experience but that's not necessary here. Great prices, stellar beer list and the best part of this place ... Consistency! The chicken roquette is my go to here and it's always the same, juicy, enjoyable experience time after time. Thick cut bacon over grilled chicken is a good basis but I switch the cheese out for Vermont cheddar. Rib fries are deadly and the buck a shuck Wednesday nights is a delight for oyster lovers. Beer can chicken salad is a very pleasing choice as well as the grilled kielbasa an any of the Burgers on the list. One last thing that I love about this place is its tap beers. Best this side of Philly and Always changing every night and you can sample any of them for free before you buy. Helps you learn a lot about what you really like. Lastly I would tell you to ask for Rosie if she's working. We've been here over 50 times since it's opened and she is the best we've ever had.

The pulled pork tacos are so worth eating here. Yes, it can be a bit loud. Yes, the servers are not the greatest. Yes, the wait can be long, but it is worth it. The beer list is outstanding. This place has very good pub food, lots of TVs for game watching (if that's what you're into), and (best of all) a wonderful selection of beer. I sit at the bar fairly often to try a beer I've never had before, and their rotating taps make that easier. For Haddon Township, this bar is the best for a beer lover. So if you find yourself in Collingswood, Westmont, Cherry Hill or anywhere near by, check this place out.

I have been here a few times and while I have not experimented much with the menu, I have been very happy with my food every time. I tend to get the All American burger with their famous fries--absolutely delicious! Also, try their homemade onion dip. They have a great selection of beer, especially if you are into craft brews. On certain nights, be prepared to wait. I think I have waited as long as 45 minutes for a table, but it is well worth it I think. Also, when they are busy, parking can be an absolute nightmare, so get there early if you plan to go on a weekend night or when they have their buck-a-shuck special.

The Pour House is an excellent place to get great beer and good food. It is on the smaller side which is too very obvious during peak hours when it is loud and crammed, but before and after happy hour the crowds are manageable. The bar has a modern, hip feel to it, which attracts the young and mobile clientèle. Be careful to get there early because parking is spare. The staff are very friendly and the bar is open late. There is a surprisingly good selection of beer, but not the best.

I love the Pourhouse. Every time I go there, it's a treat. The food is decent, the alcohol selection is solid (albeit a bit pricier than I'd like but I chalk that up to my tastes), and the atmosphere real relaxing. I think my only real complaints are that it's a bit too small to accommodate the rush of people that occasionally fill the place. This is especially true during the holidays or sporting events. Take some advice from a guy who's not huge into crowds: Go here on a quiet Saturday afternoon with a few friends. It's a great place to kill a few hours and get into the swing of the weekend.

Grabbed a late meal here with my wife and daughter, it was after everyplace else had closed, and their kitchen was still open, on a weeknight, so thats a great thing to know. They seemed to have a wide selection of beer which many will like, but we were hungry and were looking to eat. I had the Pour House burger which was a great sample of the classic tavern burger. Served with melted cheese and sautéed onions, it was really good. I should have asked for lettuce and tomato on it, and I would have been even happier. Nice roll too. Nothing fancy but tasted good. I got fries with mine, but the tavern chips that my wife and daughter got looked great also. My wife got a lamb burger which was also good, and a unique offering. My daughter got a grilled chicken sandwich that came with bacon - can't remember their name for it, but she enjoyed it as well. Hard to go wrong if you are looking for a tavern meal.

I went to the Pour House with a few friends for the first time about a year ago and immediately fell in love with their sweet potato fries and whenever I go back there I make sure there is room for an order. Most times I go for the beers as the name is inspired by their long list of craft beers on tap as well as their own micro-brews. Check out the menu and ask the bartender for a few tasters before settling on one. I have to say it is nice to have a bar offer free tasters before I buy and the Pour House is one of those places. You may think you want a porter but then realize an ale is more your style, personally I like trying them all one pint at a time. Cheers!

My boyfriend and I are here around once a week and love it. Wednesday night is the best crowd, likley for the dollar-oysters special. The beer selection is extensive and always changing. The decore is Classic rock themed and the crowd is a young professional and grown-up type. The burgers are great and the calamari is delicious! Some beers can be pricey but I suppose that's going rate. Ive read they are owned by Pjs or the same group, but you could hardly tell. No dirty flies everywhere and bimbo waitresses like the cherry hill pjs! Definitly a fun relaxing place to go and have a good beer amongst good people.

Been here many times and will go many more. Collingswood and the Haddon Ave strip may be the hippest little area outside of Philadelphia (on the Jersey-side that is), but for too long there was one thing that Philly had which this trendy SJ area lacked: a good German/Belgian Beer Garden. That's where the Pour House comes in. If you like fine imported, craft, and microberwery beers, than this is the place for you. With plenty of selections and specialties on tap, be sure to sip slow - many of the beers at Pour House are well over 8% alcohol content (each beer's alcohol content is listed on beer menu). While the menu is not exactly extensive, they do offer some staple items. BScho thinks the burger menu (featuring both beef and bison) is fantastic. TScho really likes the raw bar offerings. And Pour House also has some PJs classics, from Famous Fries to many of their refreshing salads. The establishment is owned by PJ Welihans, which means that on a weekend or a game night it can get pretty crowded, and will sometimes have a mix of the same meathead guys and drunkslut girls which too often ruin the atmosphere of the Cherry Hill PJs. However, the majority of the region's D-Bags tend to steer clear of this tavern.

I went there last night with a big group of friends. I looked at the draft list and for a bar in south jersey it was quite long(18 beers) and lots of craft beers. The draft list was quite mixed with different styles of beer(stouts, wits, barley wine, strong ale, doppelbocks, lager, pils, etc...). They had some good specials last night 4 dollar Allagash White and 3 dollar Sly Fox O'Reilly Stout. The other prices were right on with any other bar you would find in Philadelphia. The only thing I didn't like about the beer service was that some of the heavier beers were only served in the wrong glasses. They only had pint glasses and tulip glasses. The food was quite good as well. The group got some shrimp tostadas and perogies. The appetizers were small, but they were good, especially the perogies! I ordered a Bratwurst Burger which was topped with sauerkraut and beer/grain mustard. The burger was good, the chips weren't really that great. This place also has a raw bar which I didn't try, but there will be a next time!

I don't think it was luck that we went there last night and had great service, great seafood and ice cold beers. If you like oysters you need to try The Pour House. I normally go to Snockeys to get great oysters and clams, but being closer to home, I will make this place a frequent stop. Our waitress, "J", was awesome. Friendly and knowledgeable about oysters and beer, she was on time and brought us out frozen glasses with each craft bottled beer. Never an empty glass. Also amazing is the beer list. If you like variety, this is your place. Three of us ate 7 dozen oysters, 6 of which were all different and excellent. They were ice cold and served with a variety of sauces. On Wednesdays (all day), oysters are $1 each. I noticed all age groups there. There are not too many places like this around; The Blue Monkey in Merchantville and Iron Hill Brewery in Maple Shade. If you like good tasting craft beers, these places are for you. Nice Job.

First, let me start by saying "Thumbs up" to The Pour House. 123 different selections of bottles of beer? Seeing that on the menu alone had me pretty intrigued... I consider myself somewhat of a beer connoisseur myself, so seeing that much of a variety was unreal. Been there a couple of times now with my girlfriend and both times was on Wednesday night, which happens to be buck-a-shuck oyster night. They usually keep a variety of 5-6 different types of oysters on hand for the occasion. Being that this is a South Jersey establishment, the oyster specials and beer selection alone makes it a great little gem to go and throw back some oysters and beers. Hat's off to The Pour House. Not bad at all...

I love food, beer, and gorgeous women. The Pour House has all 3. I'm from the area and I had never went when it was dockhoppers (because I heard it was terrible). But when I heard it was a beer bar owned by the Pj's company I had to give it a shot. My buddy and I went one night and decided to do a table instead of the bar for once. Thank god we did because as I said I love gorgeous women and we had an absolute KNOCK OUT waitress. Lindsey or Liz was her name, but I mean if you go in you'll know her because she's a red head. Anyway, I don't know if it's just her or all the waitresses there but my service was excellent. There had to be atleast 60 beers on this menu and she let us knew everything they were out of and made suggestions. She knew her stuff which was nice because I hadn't tried a lot of the beers. I did not like how there was not some sort of beer sampler but we talked to one of the managers on duty and were told the menu is new and they were still working out all of the kinks. The food was good. Got a few munchies but nothing was really out of this world. It was bar food and if I had to pick this place or Pjs I would pick Pj's. Overall though, great crowd in there. I'd say 35-50 age group. I don't know if they get a young crown in there or not. It's a really nice corner bar, great ambiance. Pros: hot girls, great service, good crowd Cons: menu needs some work
